Our International curriculum was designed to help children receive a 21st century education in real classrooms. The curriculum is unique in defining learning goals that help young children begin the move towards increasingly sophisticated national and international perspective and it is based upon:
- a knowledge and understanding of one's own national culture. International is both inter and national
- an awareness and understanding of the independence of and the interdependence between people
- an awareness and understanding of the independence of and interdependence between countries.
- an awareneness and understanding of the essential similarities between the people and countries of the world
- a developing ability to be at ease with others who are different from ourselves.
The curriculum extends knowledge, skills and understanding, develops personal attributes and supports the development of an international perspective in children.
